Exhibition | ‘Pablo Picasso, Crossed Destinies’

The exhibition highlights a little-known facet of Pablo Picasso: his taste for experimentation beyond painting. It explores his work in graphic arts, photography, ceramics and illustration, revealing an artist eager for novelty and formal freedom.

But the exhibition goes further by weaving links between Picasso and three other major figures of the 20th century: Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Dora Maar. Their careers, marked by admiration, influences and differences, form an artistic constellation characterised by political commitment, the richness of their Spanish roots and their passion for experimentation. Paris, the epicentre of the avant-garde, played a central role in their encounters and confrontations.
