At the heart of the primitive forest in Udange
Description
This is a pleasant route to walk along, alternating between undergrowth and plateau.
Beneck wood is one of the last remaining areas of the primitive forest that once covered this region. It is particularly wild and very rich in fauna and flora. The most rural sections of the circuit are graced with fine landscapes and provide an opportunity to admire an old, restored washhouse in rue de Meix-le-Tige.
Start: Udange cemetery (Rue du Château Barbanson 39 – 6700 Udange).
Waymarking: red rectangle on white background.
